About Rojaf

The expertise is real.
The pricing is for SMEs.

We combine regulatory policy, employment law, software engineering, and digital product management — four disciplines that are rarely found under one roof, and never at this price point.

Our story

Why Rojaf exists.

Rojaf was founded by Roxana — a product manager with a background in FMCG, tech startups, and AI software ventures, and a Master's in Digital Service Design. She spent years watching two problems repeat themselves.

On the compliance side: businesses using AI tools with no understanding of their obligations, no governance documentation, and no affordable route to fixing it. Enterprise platforms charged £20,000+ and were built for corporations with compliance departments. SMEs had nothing.

On the automation side: businesses spending hours every week on admin that didn't need a human — timesheets, job enquiries, appointment reminders, review requests — but unable to access the technical expertise to change it without buying expensive platforms they didn't need.

Rojaf was built to close both gaps. Compliance advisory that prices for SMEs and speaks plain English. Automation that builds on what you already have, proves ROI before you commit, and has most builds live in two weeks.

We're deliberately lean. Senior people doing the work directly — not managing juniors who are. Every client works with the relevant specialist. And we're honest when something isn't the right fit for us.

"I kept seeing the same thing: businesses using AI tools they didn't fully understand, and no practical route to fixing it. We built Rojaf to be the practice that didn't exist — genuinely expert, honestly priced, and built for the businesses the big firms don't have time for."

How we work
01
Fixed scope before we start
Every engagement starts with a defined outcome, timeline, and cost. No open-ended retainers until we've proved we can deliver.
02
ROI defined upfront
For automation we calculate expected time savings before you commit. For compliance we identify your specific obligations — not a generic risk survey.
03
Plain English, always
No regulatory jargon. No technical mystification. Reports you can read and use. Systems your team can manage without a manual.
04
Honest about fit
If we're not the right answer for your problem, we'll say so and point you somewhere better. Our reputation matters more than one wrong project.
05
Build on what you have
Automation connects to your existing tools. Compliance documentation uses your real systems. No rip-and-replace, no new platform subscriptions.
Our disciplines

Four disciplines. One practice. Rarely found together.

Most compliance consultants can't build anything. Most automation agencies don't understand regulatory risk. We bring both together — along with the legal and operational expertise that makes the work hold up.

Digital Product
Product management & service design
A decade of product management across FMCG startups, tech businesses, and AI ventures. MSc in Digital Service Design. Every engagement is scoped and delivered like a product — defined outcomes, clear timelines, no black box.
Regulatory Policy
Policy advisory & AI regulation
Legal training combined with live regulatory experience across technology and economic policy. EU AI Act, UK AI frameworks, ICO guidance, FCA policy — tracked continuously, translated into plain English your team can act on.
Software Engineering
Automation architecture & technical delivery
A decade of production software engineering across SaaS and retail tech. Full-stack capability with particular depth in workflow automation, API integration, and AI-powered systems. Builds that work reliably and your team can manage independently.
Employment Law
Employment law & tribunal expertise
Employment law specialist and sitting Employment Tribunal judge. Brings tribunal-level expertise to compliance work where AI and employment intersect — hiring tools, automated decision-making, Data Use and Access Act 2025, candidate rights.
The team

Specialists, not generalists.

You work directly with the relevant specialist — not filtered through an account manager who then talks to someone else. Four people, four disciplines, no juniors in between.

Roxana Jafari
Founder · Product & Strategy
MSc Digital Service Design · IAPP AI Governance (in progress)

Roxana has spent over a decade at the intersection of technology, business, and operations — five years in sales, five in product management across FMCG startups and tech businesses, and a Master's in Digital Service Design focused on making complex systems genuinely usable.

She has built AI-focused software ventures from concept through to incubator and grant stage, and has direct experience of what it looks like when businesses adopt AI without understanding it — the governance gaps, the compliance exposure, and the missed automation opportunity.

Roxana leads all client relationships, scoping, and strategic advisory. She is currently completing IAPP AI Governance Professional certification and brings a product management discipline to every engagement: defined scope, measurable outcomes, honest timelines.

Darius Jafari
Policy Advisor
LLB Law, University of Bristol · Policy Advisory

Darius studied law at the University of Bristol and has spent his career working at the intersection of regulation, technology, and economic policy — advising on the development and implementation of policy frameworks across complex legislative environments.

He brings a rare combination of legal training and live regulatory experience to Rojaf's compliance practice. He leads our EU AI Act and UK regulatory framework work — translating dense legislative obligations into the plain-English risk assessments, policy documents, and remediation roadmaps that clients can actually use.

Darius tracks regulatory developments across UK and EU jurisdictions continuously, so our clients don't have to. He works with Rojaf in a consultative capacity alongside his policy role, providing the regulatory backbone to all compliance engagements.

Spyros Papazisis
Technical Lead · Software Engineering
10 years across SaaS & retail tech

Spyros is a software engineer with a decade of experience building production systems across SaaS platforms and retail technology. He has worked across the full stack — from backend infrastructure to customer-facing applications — with particular depth in system integration, API architecture, and AI-powered workflow automation.

At Rojaf, he designs and builds all client automation. His approach is pragmatic: build the simplest thing that solves the problem reliably, document it so the client can manage it independently, and measure it so they can see the ROI clearly. Most of his builds are live within two weeks of kickoff.

He has particular expertise in n8n, Claude API integration, Google Workspace automation, Bland.ai voice agents, and webhook architecture — and a strong instinct for where the real complexity in a workflow actually lives.

Yvonne Ramsaran
Employment Law Consultant
Employment Tribunal Judge · Employment Law Specialist

Yvonne is an employment law specialist and sits as a judge on the Employment Tribunal. Her expertise covers the full range of employment law, with particular depth in areas where technology and employment intersect — AI use in hiring and performance management, data protection in the workplace, and the legal implications of automated decision-making affecting workers.

She provides consultative expertise to Rojaf's compliance practice on matters touching employment law — including the Data Use and Access Act 2025, meaningful human oversight requirements under the EU AI Act for hiring tools, candidate rights under UK GDPR, and the governance obligations that apply when AI is used in recruitment and HR processes.

When a recruitment agency client's compliance assessment touches automated shortlisting or AI-assisted screening, Yvonne's input is what distinguishes our work from a generic compliance checklist. She brings tribunal-level expertise to the parts of AI governance that most consultancies get wrong.
